My Desk-mate

I am 23 years old, and I have been in school for 20 years from kindergarten to graduate. I have more than 50 desk-mates during my school time.

What is desk-mate? Desk-mate is the one who make the line no allowed to cross. Desk-mate is whom you quarrel with; is the one whom you whisper with during the class; is the one whom you gossip with; is the one who know our secrets…..

I always am a good student in class, and my desk-mate always is a poor student. Our teachers want me to help him on study. However, patient is rare, it is not very easy for me to teach him again and again.

Most people’s first lover is for their desk-mate in China. He or she maybe is not perfect or not beautiful but, he/she is the one who touch your heart.

The love in that age is pure and sincere. It is nothing about money or social status but love. Only a leopard faux fur scarf, or a hand-made gift is enough to make them happy.

Several years later, when we recall the time of school, the most memory about class is you desk-mate……
